and I am due for my education? 1. If you are teaching you can apply for an education waiver. (Click Here for Form) Members are granted FOUR waivers for the lifetime of their membership. Waivers must be requested for the current or future season. Waivers cannot be used for past years. The cost of the waivers are: 1st Waiver FREE 2. If you are not teaching you can apply for INACTIVE STATUS. Members who have taught for more than 10 years can apply for ALUMNUS STATUS. Both Inactive and Alumnus mean the same thing, however, Alumnus indicates the length of ones teaching career as a ASEA C member. You are not required to pay National dues or attend education events, but are encouraged to participate. You shouldnt let your education lapse for more than four years or you will be in danger of losing your certification. Q: What are the different types of membership? Student (ages 16-23 with proof of enrollment) Inactive (Not Teaching) Members can go up to 4 years
as inactive without taking an education event. After this period, a member's
certification may be in jeopardy. Alumnus (10+ years teaching, retired from teaching.)
These members are not required to take education events, but are encouraged. Division Only (Non-certified Instructors & Industry
