Adaptive Teaching our 3-Track, 4-Track and Slider Students ( $130 | Non-Members add $25 Fee)
This one-day clinic is for all ski instructors who want to know more about the options available for teaching Adapted Stand Skiers. Both equipment and teaching adaptations are covered in this hands-on, practical clinic. Instructors who are planning to take their Adapted 3-Track, 4-Track, Slider exam can gain valuable exam preparation information.
Attendees should be able to ski competently such that they can be responsible for the safety of themselves and their students. We recommend Alpine Level 6 or above.
Upon successful completion of this clinic (and with additional practice), you will be able to:
Perform a simple assessment to ascertain the physical abilities of an Adapted Stand Skier.
Determine appropriate 3-Track, 4-Track and Slider set-up based upon the physical abilities of the skier.
Create exercise lines for beginner 3-Track Skiers, 4-Track Skiers, and Slider Skiers.
All PSIA/AASI members must follow the PSIA/AASI code of conduct.
