REGISTRATION INFORMATION

APPLICATIONS AND PAYMENTS - Mail (postmarked) or fax your entire completed ASEA-C Education Event Application with your payment by the event scheduled deadline. Member's applications should be postmarked by the deadline noted on the event schedule. If they are not postmarked and in the ASEA-C office by that time a $25.00 late fee will be charged to all applications. This late fee was put into place to encourage members to sign up early. The education and office staff needs members to sign up by the deadline to coordinate the event. Less than two weeks is not enough time to ensure the event runs properly. Late applications or walk-on's will be admitted to the event if staffing permits, but sign up early to save your spot. Nonmembers attending a ASEA-C event will be charged an additional fee of $10.00 per day, which may be credited to their membership dues upon joining ASEA-C.

CANCELLATIONS/TRANSFERS - Cancellations must be made by 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time two (2) working days before the start of the event to receive a full refund less a $10.00 administrative fee. If the cancellation is received past the deadline, the ASEA-C office will issue a 50% education event coupon. This coupon is nontransferable, and valid until the end of the following season. No coupon will be issued unless the ASEA-C office is notified of the cancellation. If you need to transfer to another event you may do so for an additional $10.00 administrative fee. These transfers must be done before the cancellation deadline. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE MADE.

EDUCATION CREDIT - Members will receive two season's education credit for participation in any two and three day education event, or one season's education credit for any one-day event. This includes events offered by ASEA-C, ASEA or any other ASEA division. (The PDS would be the only exception, see flyer for details.)

• LATE APPLICATIONS - In order for the event coordinator to appropriately staff for each event, the application needs to be into the ASEA-C office at least two weeks prior to the event. Late applications or walk-ons are admitted on a first come, first serve, and space available basis. A $25.00 late fee will be assessed to all late applications. SIGN UP EARLY!

• LODGING, TRANSPORTATION, FOOD, AND LIFT/TRAIL TICKETS - The ASEA-C event fee does not cover lodging, transportation, food or lift/trail ticket costs. However, many areas offer discounts to ASEA members and event participants.

• NO-SHOWS - If you do not show up at an event and do not cancel a 100% cancellation fee will be charged and you will be considered a no-show.

• PARTICIPANTS MUST BE ASEA-C MEMBERS - Nonmembers may attend PDS, Workshop Clinics and any promotional event one time only (these are events that are labeled for all levels). NONMEMBERS can apply for membership in ASEA-C at the same time they submit an Education Event Application.

CERTIFICATION EXAMS REGISTRATION - ASEA-C Alpine Certification Candidates must successfully complete the appropriate written exam prior to registering for the on-hill portion of the Level II or Level III certification examination.

POSTPONED/CANCELLED EVENTS - ASEA-C seldom cancels events due to weather conditions. You may check the ASEA-C website or call the office for information. A recorded message will be available for after hour inquiries. Both are updated as needed. DO NOT CALL THE SKI AREA.

STARTING TIME - Registration and group assignments will begin for all education events at 8:00 A.M. Events begin at 8:30 A.M.
