Making the decision to become a member of PSIA/AASI Central Division involves commitment to both your education and membership requirements. These commitments involve both time and money. So please take some time to review this information before deciding if you are ready to make this commitment.

Understanding Education Credits
Becoming a Certified Instructor

If you are not currently an instructor, then you may want to contact some local snowsport schools and see if they have instructor training. You will need to have had some training or teaching time before you can begin the process of becoming a certified instructor through PSIA/AASI Central. However, we do have some clinics that are tailored to the beginning instructor that can give you a start in the right direction. In the long run, you will want to be affiliated with a snowsports school.

BEGINNING THE MEMBERSHIP PROCESS. . .

If you are ready to become a member of PSIA/AASI Central, you must completely fill out a membership application. If you are looking to register for an exam clinic, providing you meet the minimum requirements for the exam, you may send in your registration and membership applications in together.
