Bump & Carve Clinic (2-Day - $177 - 12 CEU's|1-Day - $130 - 6 CEU's)

The PSIA National Standards for L2 and L3 certification in include the ability to ski moguls- yet the mid-west is in short supply of bump runs. Enter Pine Knob, Michigan-- where the resorts grooming team is aided by local racers to manufacture a long, consistent pitch mogul field on a run aptly named "Bumper".

In the bump portion of this clinic, participants will work to isolate skills for highlighted application in the bumps. Explore the tactics and technique that take moguls from "ugh, bumps" to "Heck Yeah, BUMPS!"

Then, we flip the switch on our skill blend, and use Pine Knob resorts HUGE Quicksilver run to tip 'em over and let 'em rip. As participants harness the forces of carving, they'll take their turns to Shaboom, where the slope bobs and rolls to bring exciting outside forces into the turns. Who can find the power to bring their hip to the point of hovering just over the snow?

What: An evening of bump, and another of slice.

Why: Versatility and the ability to adjust and adapt to the extreme ends of the skill blend.

How: Through Drills and Exercises and plenty of runs, aimed to illustrate and maximize your movement awareness.

IMPORTANT: All events are subject to our normal registration and change/cancellation policy. Fees may apply if registering, cancelling, or changing your registration less than two weeks prior to the event.

All PSIA/AASI members must follow the PSIA/AASI code of conduct.
