I see and I forget. I hear and I remember. I do and I understand.
Within the Snow Sports education community, few names are as widely recognized as Horst Abraham. Horst has changed the way we interact with our guests - he is known as the father of Student - Centered Teaching and the Skills Concept - and his iconic book “Skiing Right” remains on the recommended reading list for instructors since it’s debut in 1983. Horst has a passion for teaching and learning - influencing instructors of all levels as they adopt approaches to learning and teaching that create meaningful, life-long experiences for their students.
In this moderated webinar format, participants will receive advanced reading materials introducing the subject of experiential learning - during the webinar Horst will guide the group through a series of discussions and exercises that will help participants develop a working understanding of the magic of experience driven learning and teaching. Participants are encouraged to arrive at the program with prepared questions on the topic, and they will have a chance to engage in Q and A during the webinar.
